Sweat Pink and BOSU Strong Challenge Week #3

I really enjoyed working on Balance during Week #2 of the Sweat Pink and BOSU Strong Challenge! It is definitely something I need to focus on and will continue to try and work on a bit each day. The focus for Week # 3 is Stretching and Toning.

Here is this week's Mad Lib: (My Answers are in Red)

Week 3: My 5 Fave Stretches and 3 Tips for Toning your Legs!

I can’t believe it's already week 3 of the #BosuStrong challenge, time flies when  you’re having fun! Last week we focused on balance and I was proud of myself for completing all the activities in the Challenge. This week its all about stretching and toning – so make sure you join in on the fun!

Since we’re talking about stretching, here are 5 of my all time favorite stretches:

I love to stretch my legs by doing a Straddle or Wide Leg Stretch.
My favorite total body stretch is
a Seated Spiral Stretch.
I swear when I do
the Fire Log Yoga stretch, it feels like my hips and inner thighs are very tight!
I stretch my mind by meditating and envisioning my goals, while doing the Frog Yoga Pose.
I try to stretch out of my comfort zone by doing the Hurdler Stretch.

And if you’re looking for a great way to tone your Legs, here are my fave 3 Exercises:

1. Squats

2. Walking Lunges

3. Leg Raises

Here are the activities for this week:

Monday, 9/28: Side Lunges working the inner and outer thighs

Tuesday, 9/29: Tempo Tuesday-Do your favorite Body Toning Move! It's also #tricepstuesday so do 20 dips!

Wednesday, 9/30: Stretching, add some of your favorite stretches to your daily routine.

Thursday, 10/1: #totalbodythursday Do your favorite Total Body Stretch

Friday, 10/2: Cardio Friday, do your favorite cardio routine of choice! #FreeFriday
